Based from Edinburgh
An experienced HR professional, I have worked both internally and in consulting. Although I have delivered across the full range of the HR field, my specialisms are reward, engagement and performance management. I have worked with Verditer since its inception. Based in Edinburgh, I work with clients in Scotland and the rest of the UK with Verditer on projects including benchmarking, pay structures, gender pay and bonus design.
In my previous role as HR Manager for the Middle East Region at the British Council, I was responsible for setting up the HR department and practices. This involved conducting reward reviews and employment law audits for each country and developing reward and talent management strategies for the region.
Prior to this, as an HR consultant for Aon Hewitt, I partnered with clients on a variety of HR projects including reward design and implementation, flexible benefits, executive compensation, employee engagement, 360 degree feedback and organisational and cultural change.
I have degree in Psychology and Philosophy (Oxon) and an MA in Human Resources. I am a trained executive coach and a Chartered Member of the CIPD. Outside the office I am either on the poolside as a coach and secretary of my daughter’s synchronised swimming club or somewhere quiet with my head in a book.
