I have extensive experience of all aspects of reward having held senior consulting positions at Aon Hewitt, and Director-level in house roles at Astrazeneca and Standard Chartered Bank.
As Director of International Performance and Reward for Astrazeneca I managed reward governance with significant budgets. I designed and implemented variable pay programmes to reward performance, potential and talent that were aligned to corporate strategy, and shareholder value. I also partnered with International Assignments to create a globally mobile cadre to meet the changing needs of the organisation and its workforce. Whilst at Standard Chartered, I was responsible for Executive Reward and worked closely with the senior team and regulators on the introduction of Code Staff Remuneration.
At Aon Hewitt I developed successful client relationships in the pharmaceutical, oil and FMCG sectors implementing flexible benefits, benchmarking international reward and total compensation measurement and design. More recently I have been a Client Director with a boutique reward consultancy, delivering successful projects for a number of clients in the retail, FMCG and energy sectors before founding Verditer Consulting in early 2015.
I hold a number of academic and professional qualification including an MBA, an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute, a Member of the CIPD and ILM7 qualified Executive Coach. Away from the office I’m involved in Girlguiding UK at local level complementing my love outdoor activities and am Chair of the Anglia Region HR Committee. I also enjoy international and premiership rugby.
